Prof. G. Tsironis and Prof. M. Segev at 2014 Israel Prize in Science ceremony

CCQCN partner Professor Moti Segev of Technion received the 2014 Israel Prize in Science in a special ceremony held in Jerusalem on May 6th, 2014.  Professor G. Tsironis was invited and participated in the event.  The "Israel Prizes" are given since 1953 and award scientific, artistic, cultural and social excellence and contributions.  The ceremony takes place during Israel independence day and is attended by all the political leadership of the State, the president, prime minister, minister of education, mayor of Jerusalem, etc.
