CCQCN Coordinator recent activities

We are pleased to announce that our CCQCN Coordinator, Prof G. Tsironis, will be part of the Technical Program Committee of META 2015. The 6th International Conference on Metamaterials, Photonic Crystals and Plasmonics will be held in New York City, NY, from 4 to 7 August 2015.

Additionally Prof. G. Tsironis became Associate Editor in two Scientific Journals:

  • Quantum Computing (FRONTIERS). It is a specialty section of Frontiers in ICT, which is devoted to publishing novel results in the fast-developing field of quantum computing and enabling quantum technologies, such as quantum simulation, quantum metrology, and quantum imaging. It also publishes complementary research in areas such as: alternative quantum computing paradigms, quantum simulation, or circuit quantum electrodynamics; pertinent foundational issues such as quantum-classical transition or the measurement problem.

    CCQCN Best Poster Award at E-MRS 2014 SPRING MEETING

    Our colleague, Dr Vassilios Binas attended the Symposium I “Solution Processing and properties of functional oxide thin films and nanostructures” and his Poster was awarded as the Best of the Symposium

    CCQCN presence in the META'14 Conference, Singapore

    Both CCQCN, coordinator Prof G. Tsironis and Senior Researcher, N. Lazarides participated in the META 14th, 5th International Conference on Metamaterials, Photonic Crystals and Plasmonics organized at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore
