WORKSHOP’s VENUE

The Workshop will take place at the premises of the Anargyreios and Korgialeneios School of Spetses (A.K.S.S.) Foundation, a prime waterfront conference facility located in the island of Spetses, just two hours by boat from Athens, or a couple of hours by car to the nearby village of Costa and a few minutes by boat or water-taxi to reach the Spetses’ port.

The workshop starts on Monday,  Monday, June 18, at 09.00, and ends on Friday, June 22, at 16.00.

What is included in the registration fee

The registration fee for regular delegates includes:

• Admission to the NLL 2018 Conference, the sessions, and the poster area.
• Conference Materials
• Opening / Closing Session, Social and Cultural events
• One local half-day Cruise

ACCOMMODATION

AKSS offers an inclusive package which includes accommodation, half board (that is, breakfast and lunch). The cost per day is, for single-room occupancy, 65 €.

For accompanying persons staying in A.K.S.S and sharing a double room, the additional cost is 56 € per day, including accommodation and half board.

Kids up to 7 yrs old can stay for free in parent(s) room (at AKSS); kids 8-15 yrs old  pay 25 Euros per day (including breakfast and lunch).

The cost for extra meals for participants not staying at  AKSS is 15 Euros per meal (per person)

The number of rooms available at A.K.S.S is limited. It is strongly recommended that participants who would like to select this accommodation option, to do so before March 09th 2018.

To reserve a room in AKSS please fill in relevant field in the registration form.

AKSS accommodation takes place in the neoclassical Buildings B and C, located next to the main Building A. The Building B operates exclusively as a place of hospitality for visitors, offering a total of 33 rooms of varying capacity (6 of them have private bathrooms and all the others have shared bathrooms) with air-conditioning; Building C offers a total of 38 rooms on two floors; each room has a private indoor bathroom 

On the ground floor of Building C, guests can use the Entertainment Room, with ping pong tables, board games, satellite TV and piano. Guests can also peruse the Library, comprising a collection of 5,000 old versioned books.

AKSS serves breakfast and lunch at the Restaurant, offering dishes of local and Greek cuisine while guests enjoy a wonderful sea view.

Please note: The earliest possible date of arrival at AKSS is June 17th 2018.
All participants staying in AKSS must leave their rooms, at the latest, on June 23th 2018. If you want to stay longer, please let us know.

A poster session will take place; interested participants should mention whether they want to participate in the poster session, in their registration form. They should also send until 09th of March 2018, to qcn [AT] physics.uoc.gr, a title and abstract for their talk
